About BGC Riverview
BGC Riverview is a safe and supportive place where children and youth can experience new opportunities, overcome barriers, and develop confidence.
To provide a safe and supportive place where children and youth can experience new opportunities, overcome barriers, build positive relationships and develop confidence and skills in life.
All children and youth discover and achieve their dreams and grow up to be healthy, successful, and active participants in society.
Our core values guide everything we do — from the programs we design to the way we welcome every child through our doors.
Every child deserves to feel secure. We maintain the highest standards of care and protection.
We welcome everyone in a safe, accepting environment based on positive relationships.
We create pathways for youth to discover their passions and build skills for the future.
We strengthen our community by investing in its youngest members.
For more than 20 years, BGC Riverview has been a cornerstone of the Riverview community. What began as a small breakfast program has grown into a comprehensive suite of programs serving hundreds of children and youth across the Greater Moncton area.
As part of the national BGC Canada network (formerly Boys & Girls Clubs of Canada), we bring world-class standards and evidence-based programming to our local community. Our club at 50 Runneymeade Road has become a second home for young people — a place where they feel safe, supported, and inspired to reach their full potential.
Under the leadership of Executive Director Lynda Carey since 2008, the organization has expanded from school-based programs to include a licensed after-school childcare program, a teen drop-in centre, free tutoring and mentoring, and beloved community fundraising events like the Christmas Tree Lot and Garage Night.
Today, BGC Riverview serves over 500 children and youth annually with six distinct programs spanning ages 5 to 17. Our breakfast programs alone provide more than 100 nutritious meals every school day, ensuring no child starts the day hungry.
We hold ourselves to the highest standards in youth programming and child safety.

"When you put that bowl of cereal or you put that toast on the counter, and this small five year old looks up at you as if you've just given them the best Christmas present, that's an impactful moment that's going to stay with you for a very long time."
Whether you volunteer, donate, or enroll your child, you help us build a stronger community.
